Inventory management software will help you manage your supplier, purchases, and expenses. To get going with inventory management you first need to create various parameters in the inventory management software which will allow you to use this software efficiently. Without following the below steps you won't be able to take full advantage of this Inventory management software.


Please follow the following steps to set up your inventory management software on you are on Wellnessta Inventory Dashboard:


Step 1: Create your company Profile


On the left sidebar look for "Setting" in the bottom and expand it. Click on "Company Profile." Please fill in all details and save/ update. Your company is created.


Step 2: Create a Tax List


On the left sidebar look for "Settings" in the bottom and expand it. Click on "Tax List." Please fill all details of tax details like CGST and save. To create multiple taxes like SGST, IGST, or UTGST, etc., you need to create the desired tax list by clicking "New Tax" on the top right-hand button on the screen and add one by one.


Step 3: Create Units:


On the left sidebar look for "Settings" in the bottom and expand it. Click on "Units." You will see the preset of Units in the software. If those are not as per need of your business, you can create a New Unit suiting to your need. Click on the "New Unit" button on top right side of the screen and create a Unit as per your need.


Step 4: Create a Payment Type List:


On the left sidebar look for "Settings" in the bottom and expand it. Click on "Payment Type List." Click on the "Create New" button at the top right of the screen. You can create as many payment types like Cash, Credit, Advance, Credit Card, and UPI etc. by add to the list by "Create New" button.


Step 5: Create Places:


Whether you are a single outlet owner or you want to use this software at Multiple locations, you need to create your place or places of operation. On the left sidebar look for "Places" and expand it. Click and add places as needed by you.


Step 6: Create Categories:


You need to create categories of items/ services you purchase of sale. On the left sidebar look for "Items" and expand it. Click on "New Category." Add as many categories as you wish to create of an item that you want to sell or services you offer booking.


Step 7 : Create Brand:


If you purchase and sell products of multiple brands you need to create brands. If not, then you can skip this step. To create a brand that you purchase and sell on the left sidebar look for "Item" and expand it. Click on "New Brand" and add as many brands you deal with. 


Step 8: Create Items


Each product is a separate item and needs to be treated separately for efficient inventory management or invoicing. In case of a product, there can be multiple variants in terms of size or quantity and therefore those too are the different items.


To create items that you purchase and sell on the left sidebar look for "Item" and expand it. Click on "New Item" and add as many items you purchase or sell.


Now you are all set to start using the Wellnessta Inventory Management software.
